Ken Moody Safaris 2000
KMS had a banner season
hosting 30 clients this year with an average of 5 animals taken per
client. Good people from all over the U.S. honored us by selecting KMS
to outfit their hunting adventure. Doug McComb, son Brendan, and Bruce
Menck from Indiana shot many heads of game including two huge
Waterbuck Bulls. George Krasinski from PA shot a super Cape Buffalo
with his bow (see story).

What an adventure this
turned out to be. Richard
Putman returned and finally settled the score with his old nemesis,
the Kudu Bull. Bob Kist and Leon Kersey brought bows and "Bob
taught Leon how to hunt." (Inside joke!) Bob
scored on two large Waterbuck Bulls, Zebra, Wildebeest and Warthog.
Leon's bow sang to the tune of two nice Impala rams, a Warthog, and a
really big Wildebeest Bull. Bob Adams and Dwight Marberry of Detroit
shot nice trophies on their first ever safari. Jimmie Luttrell even
went so far as to literally shoot through a mopane tree and then
through a big Eland Bull with his .338 while his partner Scott Wyre
was "eat up" with the Kudu Vodoo. Finally, after a dozen or
so sightings, he was able to put one in the salt. I personally scored
one Nyala and one huge 31" Waterbuck Bull. Overall, we had a
tremendous season with many happy clients. |
